How does Coastal Hosts protect my property?

First and foremost, we work with you to make sure your property is properly insured for renting. From there…

• Coastal Hosts personally screens and approves each guest.

• For bookings on Airbnb, Airbnb offers their Host Protection Insurance Policy.

• Coastal Hosts tries when possible to require security deposits, unless the booking platform itself controls these funds and not Coastal Hosts.

• Depending on which platform the reservation is made, we might not be able to obtain a security deposit from guests. Instead any claim for damage or violation of house rules may require a claim submission from Coastal Hosts in which we handle documentation of damage and item replacement according to value. In such instances Coastal Hosts makes no guarantee of full or partial reimbursement.

How much does Coastal Hosts cost?

We discuss what level of management you are looking for and deduct our percentage fee from the booking’s rate per night. There is no upfront cost for our service, and all supplies and maintenance are handled separately. Cleaning fees are paid by guests upon booking and disbursed back with our fee.

What if my property is already listed on my Airbnb account?

Airbnb has a co-host feature that we use to manage your booking. You grant us access and we manage as you or you can grant us access to manage as Coastal Hosts.

What if my property is not already listed online?

Perfectly ok! We will discuss your goals on our free consultation call and determine if we’re a good fit. We handle all start up logistics including photography, listing descriptions, and overall property assessment. From there we list and manage your property on different marketplace websites like Airbnb, Vrbo, FlipKey, and Homeaway. You then sit back, relax, and get paid.
